What would be a good example for a topic on making an ethical decision?

I have to write a paper on an ethical decision making model. I know I have made ethical decisions throughout my life, but I just can't think of anything right now. If anyone has any good examples please help me out.

1. Animal cruelty" is It ethical to kill animals for food, even though it is possible to obtain an equally nutritious diet from non animal sources?" Drug War " should drugs be legalized, athough they have the potential to be a deficit to society, even though many users are able to use them without harming others?" Death penalty" Is it alright tro take the life of someone, who deliberately has taken the life of someone else?" Those are just a few, I hope that helped
2. Have you ever turned down a request from a friend to help them cheat on a test? Have you ever spent 20 extra minutes re-wording what you read from the encyclopedia, so it wouldn't be plagiarism? Those would be good examples. Think of Abe Lincoln, walking <how many?> miles to return six cents to the lady he had overcharged that day in the store. I've gone back to the store (not the one Abe Lincoln worked at) to return an extra quarter they gave me in change. Once our drill sergeant called a formation after PT and bellowed, "WHO SPIT ON ME??" -- I had, because I didn't realize he was behind me (it was 0-dark-thirty!) and I really needed to spit. lol ~ he didn't make me do the 100 push-ups he threatened, because, I believe, he was so startled someone actually took the rap for it.
